Hiding flu facts behind captain of men of death
Even today, despite antibiotics, when someone dies after an intense bout with influenza, it is rarely the flu that kills the patient, but pneumonia; however, do not be deceived.
It is the flu that creates the opening for the pneumonia to attack. Without the flu, in these cases, there would be no pneumonia, and without that pneumonia, there would be no death. The death, in the end, should be attributed to the influenza virus.
It is much the same way that people rarely die from Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), but from AIDS-related complications, such as heart failure, renal failure, or pneumonia. The systems failures of the human body are what ends the human life, but it is the initial AIDS virus that destroys the immune system. The AIDS is the cause of the overall devastation. People with AIDS very well might die piece by piece, but it is the AIDS that is to blame, not the disintegration of individual parts.
The health community needs to acknowledge this fact, that the flu is the true killer in a Great Pandemic, not pneumonia, which is the serious complication. A flu death is a flu death, and should be reported as such. Even with a cytokine storm, the flu is the ultimate culprit, not the immune system.
The immune system, during a cytokine storm, overreacts to the invasion of the flu virus, calling in a nuclear strike in an attempt to take out the hiding serial killer, accomplishing severe damage on the entire city block. Flu is the serial killer, and the immune system sometimes — as are the real-life police — is guilty of faulty judgment.
These facts should be reported properly. Currently, deaths during the Great 2009 Pandemic are incorrectly attributed to pneumonia as well as "flu-like symptoms." The truth is, it is H1N1 Swine Flu, not quite as mild as advertised and sold to millions.
